Deal's Gap freaks make me laugh, Ryuzo is ten times more difficult. Japanese mountain roads are NOT for the timid.
Green tea farms on STEEP ridges roadside, some had electric fans mounted on poles to protect the tender leaves during cold weather.
Ongoing construction of new tunnels & bridges. I must admit that the Japanese are master tunnel builders. Topography of the land demands the use of smart civil engineering.
